Sun-Times Media Group Inc. has hired Chicago advertising veteran Barbara Swanson as group vice president of advertising and marketing of the Sun-Times News Group. Swanson, 50, will be responsible for the leadership of advertising sales and marketing strategy for STNG newspapers and Web sites.
